Welcome back to my blog!
Its crazy to think that 2018 is already here, I’m so sorry that I waited until February to write my first 2018 post…. at the end of every year I write down certain goals to achieve for the year that comes after.
This year, I waited for February to start to get back on the blog because January didn’t start so hot for us, but it turned around and here I am.
I like writing goals with a bit of a timeframe set out for each of them.
Three Goals for this year;
- Declutter, Declutter, Declutter; I’m not gonna lie in no way, shape or form is my house cluttered, I am always organizing and decluttering and giving away. But I have been reading a lot of Minimal lifestyle books and I quite like the Idea behind it, and I really wanted to put some finishing touches in our home as well. (timeframe started middle of January and finished by end of February)
- Get Healthy and be Fit; I think this is one of those goals that everyone has for the new year. For the past 2 or 3 years I haven’t been taking care of myself the way I should have, and I have noticed it in the way my body reacts and how I get tired easily and my energy levels are not where they use to be, so I believe is time for a change. (time frame: started in January)
- Make my Home more Eco-friendly: let us be honest, Environmental issues are a real thing no matter how much we try to ignore it, but there are so many things that you can do to help and maybe inspire someone else to do it as well. (no time frame since I started the changes last year.)
Those are it! I don’t make a bunch of goals because let’s be honest when you make a huge list you don’t even get one of those done. But approaching a few at a time works great and they always get done.
I have already started with the decluttering, it’s going amazing and the changes are incredible and I might talk a bit about it in another post. Also getting healthy is also in the works and I will make a few updates as well in another post to give an idea of what I’m doing and how is it working for me.

The eco-friendly take, I started sometime last year, with switching to reusable bags, composting, recycling and starting to eliminate plastic from our day to day. This year I wanted to take it and make more changes, I have seen a lot of those no trash challenges and read a lot on the subject, I do not believe that I can do no trash at all from one day to the next Iut i can definitely reduce the trash that my home produces and that’s what I will be focusing on this year.
Hope you all enjoy this post and that 2018 is going great for all of you!! What were your goals for this years?
Don’t forget to let me know What your goals for 2018 are!
