I wanted to start with a health post, I have been super into smoothies lately and using my Vitamix.
I have always been into green smoothies and green juices. But a year or so ago we switched to the Vitamix, and I swear that has made me love them even more. This Machine makes the drink so smoothies, I swear it is just amazing.
So let’s get into my top 3 smoothies.
They don’t have names since we put them together ourselves, so let’s go with numbers.
- 2cups of spinach
- 1 cup of kale
- 1/2 cup of pineapple
- 1 Inch of Ginger
Add everything in with your choice of liquid.
- 3 cups of spinach
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 inch of ginger
- 1/2 banana
- 1 green apple (or whichever you have)
- 1 beet cut in 6
- 1 1/2 cup of frozen berries
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1/2 apple
Completely optional but I also add this to each of the smoothies when available;
(I linked the brands I use)
- 1 Tsp of maca
- 2 Tbsp of Flax seeds
- 3 Tsp of Acai
- 1 Tsp of Spirulina
- 1 Tbsp of Peanut butter powder (for after the gym Smoothie)
- 2 Tsp of Turmeric
You can use;
- Coconut water (my choice)
- Almond milk
When I make them, I prefer more greens not as many fruits, so when I make them, I cut the fruit amount in half. When I make them for the hubby that has a sweet tooth so he loves them exactly like the recipe. Please make sure that all the greens, fruits, as well as the powders, are organic, and non-GMO.
